Beginners Strategy for Double-Hand Poker

Double-hand Poker is a cutting-edge game with ancient origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the west in an excellent game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the casino, not like almost all other poker games that players wager against other players. By gambling against the dealer, beginning players do not have to worry about other, more experienced gamblers winning their moolla.

A further Pai Gow benefit is the generally leisurely game pace, beginners will be able to take their time and scheme without needing to make hasty decisions.

It is also easier to play for a very long time with only a tiny amount of cash since, to lose, both of your hands has to be lower than both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards face up and the casino is given 7 cards face down.

One 5 card hand and a 2 card hand have to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be higher than the dealer’s.
