Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the western in a great game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the casino, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers play against other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, beginner players don’t have to worry about other, more advanced individuals winning their mulla.
Another Pai Gow advantage is the relatively leisurely game play, rookies are able to take their time and strategize while not needing to make frenzied choices.
It is also simpler to play for an extended time with basically a small amount of cash after all, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than both of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards faces showing and the house is given 7 cards faces hidden.
One five card hand and a 2 card hand must be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the houses.
