Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the east with the west in an awesome game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the house, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers bet with other players. By gambling against the dealer, new players don’t have to be concerned about any other, more advanced individuals winning their moolla.

An additional Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game play, beginners will be able to take their time and plan while not having to make frenzied selections.

It is also much simpler to bet on for an extended time with just a small amount of money after all, to lose, each of your hands must be under both of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is given seven cards faces showing and the casino is given 7 cards faces hidden.

A 5 card hand and one 2 card hand need to be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be better than the casino’s.
